I was born and raised in Ohio. I am a lifelong Catholic who has long had an interest in the big questions of life. I've always had an interest in Religion and Science, so it was no wonder why I was captivated by Philosophy when I discovered the discipline. I graduated from the University of Toledo in 2001 with a BA in International Relations. I also married my soul-mate, Jen in 2001. After our wedding, we moved to Japan for 3 years. We both taught English and Western culture. We lived in rural Tanigumi-mura village, and traveled all over East Asia. Upon returning to the US, we relocated to San Francisco - the city which we love. I earned my Master's Degree in Education in 2005 from AIU On-line. I am currently working as a tutor and for a bookstore. I am very interested in all branches of Philosophy and find inspiration in Plato, but study many different schools and philosophers.
