I've been working hard with the Obama presidential campaign as an organizer. Here is a local news article that highlighted one of our first major goals:
Grass roots Obama parties held throughout Toledo area.
The Washington Times even carried an article on the Unite for Change meetings as well:
Obama house parties tap 'persuasion army'
The official campaign web page for the event is here:

It's an amazing experience to be a part of such an energetic movement that is empowering people and re-introducing the long-lost idea of community in Ohio.

Sounds like fun. I note you are from San Francisco. When will you be returning to your life there? What kind of employment do you have that allows you to be gone so long? Keep up the good work for Obama. He has to win!
Thank you for your support. My time in the program that I am involved with - the Obama Organizing Fellowship concludes at the end of July. I will be returning to my wife in San Francisco then. I had been working as a tutor and at a bookstore before I came back to Ohio. My tutoring job ended as schools let out and I wasn't getting very good hours at the bookstore. So I am surviving on the hard work of my wife and the generosity of my in-laws who live in Ohio, and the many volunteers who bring in food etc to the Democratic Party HQ in Toledo.
I can't fail to mention the support of my family who have helped me in this undertaking as well...
You are very lucky to have such good people supporting you in this endeavor. You owe a real debt of gratitude to your in laws, sometimes in laws aren't very helpful! Were they involved in the campaigning as well? Supporters who drop off food to the campaign workers are really wonderful people. The best of luck on your return to San Francisco and I hope you will find employment worthy of your talents. I watched Obama's news conference today from Jordan. I was so proud. He is definitely Presidential material. Again, good luck to you and yours.
